Special Factors: Completed relocation of site utilities--water, gas, sewer, and power--for a three-block plaza area with a fountain

Client: Atlas Foundry,
Marion, IN
Requirements: Energy audit for 90,000 square-foot foundry that was constructed in 1893
Recommendations: Identified many energy-conservation opportunities, including installing variable frequency drives, makeup air replacement, demand control, and melt furnace and air compressor heat reclaim
Savings: The energy-conservation opportunities revealed a savings of $92,581, or approximately 10%

Client: H. Lavity Stoutt Community College,
Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Requirements: Planning and design of a central chilled water plant for a new community college
Special Factors: As this is the only chilled water plant in the British Virgin Islands, attention was given to part-load operating operating efficiency, expandability for future growth, and maintainability for local maintenance personnel
